BREAKFASTS
I am loving Paleo eating, but am so confused — I have read that sweet potaoes are Paleo, and I have read that they aren’t. Can you please share where you get your Paleo information from? Thanks 🙂
Hi Kris! I’m so glad you’re loving Paleo! Thanks a ton for checking out the site… Generally speaking, from the reading I’ve done, sweet potatoes/yams ARE Paleo, but they should still be eaten somewhat sparingly. While they’re loads better than the traditional white potato, they are still pretty starchy/sugary. They can be excellent as a recovery snack after workouts for just that reason. For great info on Paleo, check out the “Living & Cooking Paleo” links on this page. Hopefully they’ll help!
I agree!
I like your recipes, /thank you
